The versatile Uruguayan artist, Carlos Paez Vilaró, created Casapueblo. His main objective was to create a sculpture in which he could actually live, where he would have the chance to paint in artistic surroundings and yet be able to socialize with friends.

Set on the Punta Ballena, facing west, this picturesque peninsula is only 13 kilometers away from the Punta del Este’s commercial area, and only 10 minutes from the Airport. Club Hotel Casapueblo welcomes you in a very solid infrastructure, providing you with 70 apartments, each with a terrace from which you’ll enjoy the sea view and the magnificent sunsets. We guarantee this place of lodging will make your vacation unforgettable.

Club Hotel Casapueblo offers fully equipped apartments, with satellite TV, phone service, and fully equipped kitchenettes. There is a wide variety of décor, since all of the apartments were designed and decorated differently.  Each vary from one to three rooms.

2 Swimming Pools!

-One is located at the top with an exclusive solarium with a prime vantage point to admire the stunning view and bask in the wonderful sunny mornings. You also find the Bar Tanganika by this pool, set as a tropical style bar by one of Paez Vilaro’s painting. 

-The second pool is located right at sea level, where you’ll also find a very warm and friendly restaurant, Las Terrazas  Here you can enjoy great drinks while admiring the world famous sunsets or a partake in a more sophisticated menu by moonlight.

Recreational activities are a vital part of the Hotel Club structure. In coordination with our Guest Service office and specially trained personnel in every area, we offer fun alternatives so your vacations will have (in addition to glorious sun and beach) special spicy elements such as horseback rides on the beach or through the woods, golf and tennis practice,  Aqua Sports such as jet skiing or water skiing, and lastly Banana or Traditional Boat Trips.

The new Spa with its warm water pool and Hydro Massage feature is perfect for those days when Mother Nature will not allow us to enjoy the sun. A third pool will provide more Club Hotel enjoyments.  There are also activities in the Health Gym and Sauna or simply pamper yourself with a therapeutic massage session.
