Monte Los Ombues

You are transported by flat boat through a beautiful reed lined salt water canal which wanders through cattle fields. Black cormorants, sea gulls and herons fish this canal. Flocks fly over the fields and wade in the shallows.

Monte Los Ombues is an ancient stand of trees called Ombues. Some of them are as old as 800 years. They don't grow tall but wide into all kinds of fantastic shapes. To see the Ombues is like wandering in a garden of living sculpture.
