Las Grutas Beach
 Las Grutas Beach is the most popular in
Punta Del Este. Las Grutas means water caves. There used to be a
disco in the largest of these caves in the 80s and some of the equipment is
still there. You can explore these caves and between the caves there is a
little hidden beach. The rich and famous come to Las Grutas because
it has live music, internet access, a gym, and an entertainment center right on
the beach. However, the beach is never overcrowded and has lovely
surf and views. Great place for people watching as well. Fantastic
sunsets!
